&lt;p&gt;I almost held off getting the RT thinking that I'd miss all my desktop apps, but I couldn't be more wrong. I have my laptop and desktop for all the "heavy lifting" I need to do, and RT comes with Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint if I need them.
